Tom is one of the country’s most talented young event riders, having represented Great Britain at the European Championships on the Young Rider team, winning a Bronze medal in 2014, Silver medal in 2013 and previously on the Junior team, securing a Gold medal in 2011. Last year Tom was the Under 25 Champion, having won the 3* international championships at Bramham in June 2014. He ended the 2014 season with a 2nd place in the Goldman Cup Top U21 UK Event Riders, with Waltham Fiddlers Find securing 26th in the Top 100 UK Event Horse rankings. During 2013, he finished 7th in his first 3 Star competition at Barbury Castle on his own and parents horse, Waltham Fiddlers Find whom he has produced from a 4 year old, securing the Horse Trials Support Group award of £500 for the highest placed Under 25 rider. It was on this horse that he also won the National Under 18 Championships at Weston Park in 2010. Tom is now part of the World Class Development Programme for 2014/16.
After three seasons competing, schooling and breaking horses in two international event yards, Tom set up his own event yard in Kent in 2013. From his yard, with its super facilities, he is currently competing novice up to advanced horses and offers schooling & competition liveries. He also teaches and gives lecture demonstrations.
